I really need to pay more attention to the goings-on in my town. If I had, I wouldn’t have almost entirely missed the Fancy Flea Market that took place downtown today. By the time I knew something awesome was going on, I had about an hour to get there and shop around before it closed down.
My darling friend, Christy, talked me into going even though I thought that thirty minutes of shopping wouldn’t be worth the gas to get there. I’m glad I listened to her. I’m also glad she met me because she’s the one that found this adorable travel case for me.
I had seen about a dozen beige or blue train cases and really wanted something with more vivid color. Just as I said this to her, she found a bright pink case. It was being used as a display for vintage photos and was mostly covered up by a sign. I paid full price because I don’t haggle very well, but it’s worth it.
So now I have to decide how to refurbish it. I’ve found some inspiration online (see below), but none of them are just right. I’ll have to figure out how to redo the inside to suit my sewing organization needs. Now I just have to be decisive and get started. Did I mention being decisive is not my strong suit?
